Skippo was born 30 oktober 2002. He came to
our family in July 2004 because his first owner no longer could keep him. Skippo
had not been working so that was what we started to do.
We have been training and competing for many years now. Both in obedience, herding and the working disciplines searching and tracking.
Skippo is a very balanced and nice
dog who finds himself comfortable where ever we are. The best and most loyal
companion. What ever I am up to he is into it too, and try his very best. He is
agile, strong and well built. As a working dog he is easily motivated and awake.
Stubborn in a way that he would never quit, as long as he understand what I mean
and want from him.
Also a joker with a gleam in his eye. I never get bored training with him.
Now when he is 8 years, we only train herding and tracking. In the Swedish working discipline tracking there also is some obedience that we train. The goal is to be a tracking champion. We´ll see what time brings.
Up til now every result has been a bonus of our happy days together training. Skippo is Swedish Obedience Champion and ASCA Working Trial Champion in herding. He also is good looking and got the Swedish Comformation Champion title too.
Skippo is one of 12 in a litter where the siblings live in Sweden (6), Finland (2), Portugal, Schweiz and Norway (2).
